I watched the Cartoon Network version of Superman Doomsday this morning. It left me with a lot of questions. What were those lines on Superman’s face supposed to be? Has Lex Luthor developed an eating disorder? Who gives a shit about Lois Lane and her cleft chin?
It stunk, but I guess it was still better than Superman Returns. Doomsday has a slight edge over Kumar.

Meh…I didn’t love it, but I didn’t think it was that bad.
Though I liked the comic better, though fitting in all the crap from the comic would have taken a miniseries, not a movie.
Though I will agree that the character designs were…off…to say the least.
To be fair, it looked heavily edited for TV. It cut away abruptly whenever anything cool was about to happen ie. someone’s face getting held against a moving subway train.
Lol, I haven’t seen the tv edited one but the one I seen was pretty brutal. I still rate the fight with Superman vs Captain Marvel that was on Justice league a little higher up than the doomsday one.
And yes..can someone please tell me what those two scars on clark’s face was and why Luthor looked like he just walked off of Smallville.
Still…this was better than that last Superman movie..
Seen that Dark Knight Anime yet?
Didnt see the superman movie(i never really liked superman) but the Dark Knight anime was awesome. I espically loved the first short. It really put into perspective how people “see” Batman as more than just a man.
Plus he fought a ninja. Automatic win.
I’ve never been a huge Superfan myself either. Though I did like the animated series and early Justice Leagues.
The Dark Knight stuff does look good. Is that available On Demand?
Maybe the lines were because of aging?
See, I was thinking ‘age’ too…but doesn’t supes age much slower?
I don’t know…I think they were supposed to show a ‘heroic’ visage.
And yeah…the edit was horrible…I have no CLUE how the hell they’re going to show Jurassic Park Three. That’s just asking for confusion…
I saw the lines. They dont look heroic. They look old. They are there simply because the artist wanted them there.
I thought they were supposed to convey age also, since Doomsday happens after a pretty long super-career. But like Paoken said, if Supes is looking that much older, then the Daily Planet staff should look like decrepit mummies.
I saw part of Jurassic Park 3 (I’ve got problems). They showed people getting eaten.
…I knew it! That’s partly the reason why opted fall asleep then waste time watching it, plus — those “lines to represent age” shittiest ever and as for Lex being on bolimick eclax…ummm…Daaamn!
Will wait until badmuthas convert from 2-d into flash animation worth more than corporate run bullshit; Still, sadly the original creator who passed requested Superman to NEVER be KILLED! The real superman died replaced by this bullshit…
