I’ve been on this hiatus for a while. I’ve read some books, watched some movies and played a lot of videogames. I gotta say, I’m loving all this extra time…

Let’s face it, this comic thing isn’t going anywhere. It’s generic and derivative. The art isn’t that good, and the writing is even worse. Time to call it quits and focus on my cartography.

In Other News:

The site has undergone a few enhancements. There’s a new search box on the right and leaving comments should be somewhat simpler.

We put a few hours into Smash Brothers yesterday, mostly slogging through Subspace Emissary for the unlockables with a Classic Mode and some VS. mixed in. The side-scrolling stuff is tedious and repetitive but otherwise, it’s all good. They’ve slowed things down somewhat, characters ‘float’ more than they used to, but so far, it works. The new characters are fun (Lucario is like a non-joke version of Mewtwo) and they did a good job of differentiating the clones from each other (Marth and Ike play very differently, as do Fox and Falco - haven’t gotten to Wolf or Ganondorf yet).

I’ve also recently fallen into the clutches of Rockband. Me fingers got blisters.

Almost forgot! I read Watchmen last week. Rorschach is an awesome character.
