It's a police lineup

I've jazzed up the web page a bit. You like?

It'll probably look a little funky in Internet Explorer 6 because of the lack of .png or transparency support or something. Which is absurd because .pngs are very pleasant once you get to know them... time to upgrade, son!

No Comic - New Votey

Illness has robbed you of a new comic this week. As consolation, you'll notice a bonus glossary update below.

New Vote Incentive:

Of course, I'm never too sick to get a voting update together! Voting this week will get you previews of two characters that are showing up in the next comic - Lord Ruber and Lord Cyrule.

I'm working I swear!

See:

It'll be late, as usual. Blame Harry Potter if you like. I've finished reading, but now I have to work on a school project. It's not a new comic exactly, but it's something ya'll might like. It's due a week from tomorrow so expect to see something by then.

As for the book, it was great.

New Site

Peep this bad boy. Redesigned from the ground up and ready for action. There are still a few kinks to work out here and there and you'll notice a few links that I need to fix within the news section, but all in due time, my child.

What do you think?

I think the Old School stuff has run its course. The remaining pages are extemely sketchy and probably illegible to anyone other than me. I've been bouncing some ideas around of what will fill that void. For now, I'm thinking sketch book scans. Sound good to you kids?

Pumpkin Headed Conspiracies!

The ever-cultured Tamarani pointed out on the tagboard that the pumpkin head guy looks like Ted from Zach Braf's hit comedy television program, Scrubs...You tell me:

Tamarani go to your kitchen and get yourself a cookie. You got me. Seriously, I google-imaged "Ted from Scrubs" so I could copy his suit.
Also worth noting: check out the placeholder name I scribbled in there. Thor called that one. Have I become so predictable in my old age?

What's the deal?!

I've been pretty terrible lately as far as updates go. I guess I've just been a busy boy. I'm about halfway done the next page (I know, pathetic for two weeks work) but I've got a fully-loaded weekend ahead of me, so I don't know when I'll finish it.

Forgive me, my loves.

Howard Stern meets Leeroy Jenkins

One of Howard's slaves must have discovered the now ancient Leeroy Jenkins video on YouTube and figured it would make for some good discussion on Tuesday's show. I'm surprised Howard even gave a shit. But, in spite of having no idea what a World of Warcraft is, The Howard actually devoted two separate segments to talking about the video. Psycho-fan, Mark Friggins, has a synopsis of the discussion for you, just scroll down a bit.

Important and exciting news? Hardly. Just thought it was interesting.

Thoughts to ponder: Each day, it becomes a bit more apparent that the Stern Show's main players are disconnected old-fart millionaires. That's one thing that terrestrial radio has going for it - the djs are barely celebrities, so average Joes like me can relate to them. Too bad they're all fucking obnoxious dweebs. Especially Opey and Anthony, who are almost as bad as Preston and Steve, but hopefully, most of you don't know what the fuck I'm talking about. Amen. (Kidd Chris is cool though...once you get used to him)

Another interesting note is that Howard TV producer Scott Depace said his Xbox live user name during the wrap-up show. I don't know if that's an invite for harassment or what, just thought it was surprising.

Web Design is Fun!

I got pretty caught up in the website redesign this week so the actual comic will be late.

Actually I've been caught up in this redesign for the past month, but I think we're on the final stretch. The site is pretty much good to go as it is now, but there are a few more Blogger functionalities I plan to incorporate.

The collapsible archive and labels sidebar have been problematic. Even when I choose one of the pre-made templates that use those two widgets, it doesn't work. I think it might have something to do with converting over to the new version of Blogger, even though I switched over a month ago. But I really don't know, SO currently I'm a little stumped.

I also plan to get some RSS/subscription stuff in place. I think I've got a handle on that one.

If this stuff is child's-play to any of you gurus out there, feel free to drop me a line.

Onomatopoeia

Two weeks in a row, my little chickens! I'll try to keep this pace, but I can't make any promises, what with my stubbed toe and all...

In other news: I washed my kitchen floor today! I can't stress this enough, kids - your automatic dishwasher does NOT like hand soap.

BAAAALOGGING

Hey yo,

I'm gonna spend some time fixing up this crappy page. With this thing I'm more likely to at least update the news section.

I'm about half-way done the next comic, but that doesn't mean anything. I always hit a procrastination period between rough sketching and coloring.

In the mean time, go check out Giant Robo on On Demand. I think it's under cutting edge/mad sushi or something like that. I saw this years ago and forgot how many ideas I borrowed from it.
