well... cept for the background (if you filled it in, that would make this the... second most awesome thing i have ever seen [the first is a great white shark feeding frenzy, with a dead whale center]) as it is, its still up there among the Insanely Awesome
Kudos, Dave. The attention that you put into character poses and varying angles of view is not lost on me. How many steps in the artistic process have you forgone since switching to the "BadAss Lite" style, as I call it?
Hernando, I guess you could say I've dropped 1.5 steps.
Refining the lines was a full step and probably the most time consuming part of the process. Not that there isn't some refinement going on, but obviously, not as much. It was also my least favorite part of the process.
Coloring the backgrounds is half a step. I actually fully colored a few panels this time but I didn't like the results, so I dropped it.
I think that 'Bad-Ass Lite' doesn't work quite as well for this page because it's mainly an expository page, with the exception of the last panel, and the second-to-last panel to a limited extent. It looked pretty damn cool on p. 71 where the content was more dynamic. Just a thought.
Bonus points for the minimalistic approach either way.
I have a question Mr. Dave Ryan. Well 2. How long does it take for Comicgenesis to change your comic's domain to the one you want. 2. Why did you leave Comic Gen? Just wondering, cause I'm thinking of leaving too.
Appreciate the feedback, fellows, both positive and negative.
Tystarr, getting the domain switched involved emailing an admin or two, if I remember correctly. Hit me up with an email at mrdaveryan@gmail.com for further discussion.

Yup, this absolutely rocks! Really good work Dave! Can't wait until the next part.
Awesometastic. I feel a bigass brawl coming :D
Red general is dead now right?
Well, Dudetron, he's definitely in bad shape.

there's still this blue mofo and the whole army of robos including two giants. This blue one wants to swallow him whole or what?
I'd say getting your head blown open will mess you up a little, even if you're some sort of robot.
I'm interested in seeing how McFly handles this, considering he's already exhausted his illusions. (or has he? Oooooohhhh!)

BadAss Lite: all the flavour, 20% less not-update. Goes down so smooooth.
Hey, not too bad. As your form simplifies i personally think that the comic is suffering a little though. Getting a little TOO basic.
Just one mans opinion though.
